Natural Spirulina Blue Color Phycocyanin Pigment Supplier

    Spirulina Blue Natural Pigment Exporter

Spirulina Blue Color, also known as Phycocyanin, is a natural blue pigment extracted and purified from Spirulina platensis, a nutrient-rich cyanobacterium widely recognized for its exceptional nutritional and functional properties. As a water-soluble protein pigment, Spirulina Blue exhibits a brilliant sky-blue hue and is used globally as a clean-label, plant-based colorant in food, beverage, nutraceutical, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical applications.

Produced by an ISO9001, FSSC22000, FDA, Organic, Kosher, and Halal certified manufacturer, our Spirulina Blue is derived from premium Spirulina grown in a 60,000-acre pollution-free cultivation base, ensuring the highest purity and safety from source to product.

Spirulina Blue primarily consists of phycocyanin and phycobiliproteins, natural chromoproteins responsible for the vivid blue color. It appears as blue powder or granules, readily soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol and oils.

Phycocyanin Powder Supplier Spirulina Extract Natural Blue Color

Phycocyanin Powder Spirulina Extract Natural Blue Food Color

Phycocyanin is a natural blue pigment extracted from Spirulina Extract and widely used as a water-soluble natural food color. With its distinctive blue color, good water solubility and natural origin, phycocyanin is suitable for manufacturers developing naturally colored foods, beverages and nutritional products.

Spirulina naturally contains phycocyanin, together with proteins, amino acids and other nutritional components. Through extraction and purification, the characteristic blue pigment-protein fraction can be concentrated into a convenient phycocyanin powder for food and beverage applications.

One of the main advantages of phycocyanin is its water solubility. It can be readily dispersed in water-based formulations, making it suitable for beverages, powdered drinks, confectionery, dairy-style products, nutritional foods and other applications where a natural blue color is required.

Our phycocyanin powder is available in different color-strength grades, including E6, E18, E25 and E40. These grades provide different levels of color strength, allowing manufacturers to select a suitable specification according to the desired blue shade, dosage, formulation system and processing conditions.

The E6–E40 phycocyanin range provides flexibility for different applications. Lower color-strength grades can be considered for products requiring a lighter blue tone or lower pigment concentration, while higher color-strength grades can be used when stronger coloring performance is required. The appropriate phycocyanin grade should be selected according to the final formulation and target color.

Phycocyanin is particularly attractive for products positioned around natural food colors because it is obtained from Spirulina Extract rather than being a synthetic dye. Growing interest in naturally sourced food colors has encouraged food and beverage manufacturers to explore algae-based natural colors and botanical color ingredients for blue and blue-green product concepts.

In addition to its coloring function, phycocyanin is a protein-based pigment and naturally contains amino acids. This gives the ingredient both functional coloring value and a nutritional profile associated with its Spirulina source.
