Low Molecular Weight Sodium Hyaluronate (HA-F) is a food-grade sodium hyaluronate with a molecular weight range of 100kDa–200kDa. As a natural component of human dermal tissue, hyaluronic acid (HA) is one of the most abundant acidic polysaccharides in the human body. It consists of repeating disaccharide units of N-acetylglucosamine and D-glucuronic acid, forming linear polysaccharides capable of binding water up to 1000 times their weight.
Unlike topical HA, which primarily affects the skin surface, oral consumption of HA replenishes the body’s internal stores, acting as a “second-generation nutrient.” It is absorbed through the intestinal and gastric mucosa into the bloodstream, distributed throughout organs and tissues, and forms a unique three-dimensional structure that supports collagen and elastin synthesis in the dermis.
